      You will receive an update at each step of your order, from its confirmation to its shipment. The last notification will contain a tracking link.

      You can edit your shipping address in your account settings anytime. If you have already placed an order but would like to change the address before shipping, please reach out by using our contact form. Make sure to reach out as soon as possible, so we can try to adjust the address before the parcel leaves our warehouse. Please note we cannot guarantee the adjustment is possible.

      First, check if the parcel has been deposited at your neighbours or contact the delivery service with the Track & Trace number. If you can’t locate the parcel, please contact us. Note that we might need a written declaration from you to show the delivery partner.

      Within the US all our products are shipped with UPS Ground or FedEx. Please check our delivery terms to see the shipping times and fees based on your location. Please note we are currently not shipping to Alaska and all islands (Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, Marshall Islands, etc.) and Canada. For deliveries outside of the United States, specifically Europe, please visit www.gitticonsciousbeauty.com. As of now, we only offer shipping to the United States and Europe.

      As long as your order is not ready for shipment, there is a possibility to edit or cancel it. Since our warehouses work quickly and the timeframe for possible adjustments is small, we can not guarantee that an edit or cancellation is possible.       If for any reason you are not fully satisfied or wish to return your order, you can request a return within 14 business days from the delivery date. Please note we can only take back items in their original condition. To return or exchange an item of your order simply contact us so that we can provide you with the return instructions and a return number. We can not guarantee the handling of returns sent back without a return number.

      Our nail portfolio is 30-free, meaning the products are formulated without 30 controversial ingredients. We only focus on ingredients that are approved and officially considered as safe-to-use in nail products in the US market. Our goal is to ensure maximum transparency which is why we neither integrate ingredients into our 30-free list that would never appear in nail polish, nor would we name single ingredients of a chemical group to achieve a higher x-free number. In detail, we exclude: Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde releasers (e.g. resin and donors), all animal derived ingredients (e.g. Carmine), Sulfonamide (e.g. Ethyl Tosylamide), Xylene, Toluene, Phthalates (e.g. Dibutyl Phthalate), Camphor, Triphenyl Phosphate, Triclosan, Acetone, Cyclic silicones, Colophonium/Rosin, Hydroquinone, Diethylhexyl adipate, Tert-Butyl Hydroperoxide, Synthetic fragrance, Benzophenones, Mineral Oils / Waxes, ethoxylated ingredients, EDTA, Microplastics (UNEP definition), 4-Methoxyphenol (MEHQ), Lead and its compounds, Nano Pigments, Sulfates, Polytetrafluoroethylene, Ethanolamines, Controversial mineral pigments (e.g. Bismuth Oxychloride, Chromium Oxide Greens and non-certified Mica), Parabens.

      All gitti products are 100% vegan. They don’t contain animal derived ingredients and are approved by PETA.

      All gitti products are cruelty-free. According to the EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009 animal testing for cosmetic products and their ingredients is not allowed. We never conduct animal testing for the selling of our products outside the EU either. All gitti products are approved by PETA.

      All gitti products are based on ingredients of natural origin. We always aim for the maximum concentration of natural origin ingredients combined with outstanding performance. To achieve this we consciously select non-controversial synthetic ingredients to complement our formulas, as they are often essential for the performance and stability of the product.

      All gitti products are designed in-house in Berlin and manufactured inside the EU. We carefully select partners based on their expertise and sustainability efforts.

      The period after opening (PAO) can be found on the back or bottom of the primary packaging in the small open jar symbol. Our plant-based nail colors have a PAO of 24 months after opening. They are best stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight. We recommend leaving the bottles open only for as long as necessary during the manicure and closing them tightly afterwards.

      For our product packaging we follow the principle to reduce, reuse and recycle whenever possible. Our nail colors come in fully recyclable glass vials made of 20% post industry recycled glass with a bio-foil front label. We aim to use materials that are recycled and recyclable, such as FSC-certified paper packaging and environmentally friendly ink. You can find out more about our sustainability efforts here.

      Despite their innovative formulas, our nail colours shouldn't be disposed of with household waste. The packaging can be recycled by dissolving any remnants of color from the bottle. Pour a little nail polish remover into the bottle and shake until any remaining color has dissolved. Any color remnants should be disposed of separately at a recycling point for hazardous waste. The cap can be recycled along with other plastics and the empty bottle can be disposed of in recycling bins.
