Brushing your teeth happens morning and night, almost without fail. Serum right after, 30 seconds. Oil right before you fall asleep, 20 seconds. Keep both next to your toothbrush.
What actually happens when you miss a few days
Your nails grow about 1/8 inch (3 mm) a month. The treatment works at the nail matrix, not at the tip that’s already grown out. The progress from your first few days isn’t lost.
What changes when you pause: without daily oil, moisture escapes faster. Without serum, your nails aren’t getting new keratin building blocks. But the structure you’ve built remains.
Missed 3 days? Add 3 days to your treatment. That’s it.
Nails feel smoother. Cuticles feel softer. No visible new growth yet? That’s normal.
Less nail breakage. Cuticles feel noticeably more hydrated. Nails feel smoother and stronger.
Visible changes in nail structure. End the intensive phase and switch to once-weekly maintenance. After about 90 days, the nail has fully grown out.

Falling out of a routine is rarely about motivation. Usually, it’s about visibility. If your serum disappears into the bathroom cabinet, the routine tends to disappear with it.

What to expect in week 2
Week 2 is when most customers start to see a visible difference.
In week 1, the treatment works below the surface. Keratin builds, cuticles soften, and the keratin layer becomes denser. You’re more likely to feel the change before you see it.
In week 2, those changes start to show: less breakage, smoother nail edges, and no more torn cuticles.
Keep going — this is the point where consistency starts to show.

Common questions when your routine gets off track
Do I have to start over if I missed a few days?
No. Just keep going. If you missed 3 days, add 3 days to the end of your treatment. A short pause doesn’t erase your progress.
It’s been a week and I don’t see a difference. Is it working?
In the first few days, you’ll often feel the changes before you see them. Softer cuticles and smoother-feeling nails are the first signs. Visible new growth starts after week 2. The nail grows forward from the matrix, so the full result becomes visible as the new nail grows out.
I keep forgetting the serum. What can I do?
Keep the products where you can see them — next to your toothbrush, night cream, or on your desk. If they’re visible, you’re more likely to use them. Or add the calendar reminder in Section 3 for a daily 9:00 PM prompt.
“When I founded gitti, I was starting from the same place: nails that had become so thin and brittle after years of gel manicures that I wanted to hide them.
The treatment works. But it takes consistency — and sometimes a routine needs a second start.
You were honest that yours had stalled. That’s more than most people do.”
