Nail Recovery Starter Treatment

First, I want to say that I didn't buy the set because my nails were damaged by gel manicures or anything similar. I have a severe skin condition (lichen planus) that, especially in hot weather, also causes inflammation under the nail plate and damages the cuticles.
The nail thickens over the previously inflamed area once the inflammation subsides, the surface becomes misshapen, and it can crack. So I didn't expect my nails and the surrounding skin to heal completely (the condition isn't curable); I was simply hoping for some relief.

And I noticed relief during the very first week. The nail plate is much more flexible, even the misshapen areas are more supple and no longer crack. At the beginning of week two of the treatment, my nails look noticeably pinker and more cared for. I can also trim them now without breaking or splitting.
Because there's less pressure on the areas affected by the condition, the thickened area is no longer spreading and it isn't lifting away like it used to. With a little patience and continued care, I may even have nails without the so-called oil spots again later this year.

Nail exfoliation and cuticle removers had always been completely off-limits for me.
The Cuticle Gel, however, works. It leaves the nail smoother and the cuticle neither cracks nor gets completely removed. Quite the opposite: I'm starting to see the first hint of a healthy cuticle again, and the nail root is no longer exposed.

The products certainly weren't cheap, so I hesitated for a while before deciding to buy them. But first, I've experienced noticeable relief much faster than I expected. Second, the medical treatment options (cortisone is the gold standard here) are very limited when it comes to the nails. And third, the products go a long way, at least on my small nails. So I can continue the treatment for quite a while before I run out. The care routine before bed has already become something I genuinely enjoy, so I'll definitely keep it up. Every now and then, I'll also treat myself to the Nail Smoothie nail polish as a little reward for staying consistent with my care and to help camouflage the spots that are still there.

After 24 years of constantly having acrylic nail enhancements, I suddenly developed an allergy to the acrylic, which meant it had to come off my nails immediately. I've now been using the nail treatment exactly as directed for 9 days and can already see the first signs of improvement. Both by feel and by appearance, my nails already seem better. It will definitely take a while before they're 100% presentable again because they were so damaged, but they're noticeably moving in the right direction. I've tried so many things to strengthen my weak nails and nothing had convinced me before. With the gitti recovery set, my nails look noticeably stronger and no longer as dull. I followed the routine consistently morning and evening. I kept the oil right by my bed. Now I just need to keep it up.
The nail polish remover is also much better than others. My nails dry out much less during removal. They used to turn completely white. That hasn't happened with gitti!
